Riverbank Lofts - Introduction
Something magical is about to happen. It's happened before. Over one hundred and fifty years ago, a small group of settlers selected this spot along the Speed River to call home. It was a logical choice. The Speed rivers serene beauty and surface calm provide a meditative vista where wildlife abounds. The settlers proved to be an industrious lot. Harnessing the power of the river the entrepreneurs built the largest grist mill in North America, attracted railway spurs, exported distilled beverages and became one of the largest textile producers in the country. Notably, the area was home to the famous Hespeler Wood Specialties hockey sticks used by Bobby Orr and Wayne Gretzky. Spectacular locally quarried stone buildings sprung up to meet demand as the little village of Hespeler grew into a major economic center...

While serving in the Canadian military in Afghanistan in 2010, I was involved in an IED blast and suffered catastrophic injuries to the left side of my body.
During my recovery, I had to face a new reality and make some well-informed decisions for my future. I am 32 years old and I plan to live into my 90's.
One issue I face is deciding on a permanent residence after I leave the military. I want make a wise investment in a residential condominium property that will benefit me for the years to come –not only from a financial point of view but also from a special needs point of view as I continue my life’s new journey.
